About CFFA

CFFA has just been named a “Best Fencing Club.”

For the second year in a row, the Cape Fear Fencing Association has been named as a “Best Fencing Club” by National Fencing Club Rankings.  This is based upon the results of fencers at National events.  Last we year we received the designation in epee.  This year we have received that designation for epee and sabre.  CFFA is one of fewer than 50 club across the country to receive the designation in more than one weapon.

Established in 1997, the Cape Fear Fencing Association is a USFA-sanctioned club
open to all individuals with an interest in the art and skill of fencing
regardless of age, ability or experience level.

We offer group and individual instruction in fencing fundamentals and tactics,
with both beginning and advanced classes in foil, epee and saber.
Private lessons are also available.

The CFFA meets every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, at 7;30 PM and
Saturday morning at 10 AM
in the lower level of Tileston Gym on the campus of St. Mary’s Catholic School
located at Fifth and Ann Streets in historic downtown Wilmington, NC, USA.
